Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Pide Tu Música (the “Site” or the “Platform”). By entering, registering or using the Site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The platform is an intermediary; it does not process tips
Pide Tu Música connects DJs with event guests: the DJ publishes an event or their sets; guests request songs, write in live chat, leave reviews or ratings and, if the DJ enables it, may send a voluntary tip.
The Platform is a discovery and interaction tool. It is not a payment processor or a financial institution.
Tips are transferred directly from the user to the DJ, using the bank details the DJ displays (for example, a CLABE). Pide Tu Música does not charge a commission on those tips, does not hold them, does not guarantee them and is not responsible for sending, receiving, the amount, refunds or errors in the bank details published by the DJ.
Any dispute about a transfer is between the user and the DJ (and, if applicable, their banks).
2. Acceptable use of chat, reviews and song requests
When you use live chat, request songs, rate or leave reviews, you agree not to:
- Post offensive, discriminatory, hateful, unsolicited sexually explicit, violent or illegal content.
- Harass, threaten, insult or humiliate the DJ, the venue or other people.
- Spam, flood the queue or chat, or repeat the same request in an abusive way.
- Impersonate another person, the DJ or Pide Tu Música.
- Upload fake receipts or files, or third-party data without authorization.
- Try to breach the Site’s security, extract other people’s data or bypass blocks or event rules.
The DJ may skip songs, decline a request and block anyone who breaks the event’s house rules. That does not create a right to a refund or to have a song played.
3. Moderation and removal of content
The Platform and, at the event, the DJ, may hide, skip, delete or not display requests, messages, reviews, ratings, sets or receipts that violate these terms, the law or the event rules, and may restrict or cancel access for anyone who abuses the service.
We may suspend DJ accounts or events used unlawfully or that put other users at risk.
Content you post (messages, reviews, names, images) may be visible to the DJ and, as the case may be, to other guests at the same event. You represent that you have the right to post it.
4. Limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that a song will be played, the quality of the DJ’s set, or the outcome of a tip or an event.
To the extent Mexican law allows, Pide Tu Música, its operators and collaborators will not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss or disputes between the DJ, the venue and guests, including those arising from bank transfers, incorrect CLABE details or user-posted content.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including consumer-protection rules where they apply.
5. Acceptance, governing law and changes
Using the Site means you accept these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For interpretation and enforcement, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico, unless consumer-protection law gives the user another venue.
We may update these terms on this same page. The last-updated date shows the current version. Continued use of the Site means you accept the published version.
